You are ultimately responsible for
checking the accuracy of Your Proof

All proofs are sent to clients as a pdf - a portable document format file, developed by Adobe as a file that can be opened on any platform, provided you have downloaded Adobe Reader.

 

Warning - the devil is in the detail! Checking and signing off a proof is a solemn responsibility. Your attitude towards checking a proof is critical. Attention to detail is the key to checking a proof. Check the WHOLE proof even if it is a reproof, and even if there were only a couple of minor changes. A fresh pair of eyes can sometimes spot the obvious. Please take the time to do the job properly - a reprint takes a lot longer and will cost you dear. Even if you are just sending a client a copy of the pdf - the detail is critical and a client could hold you to it! We make every effort to produce everything accurately but mistakes can and sometimes do happen but you are ultimately responsible - including spelling so check, check, check!

If you would like to make ‘author’s corrections’ they will be charged at our standard rates. We require an email from you stating that you have checked the job throughly and insist that the file is attached to that email for our files. Once we have this the job will be produced.

If you have requested a pdf as the final job - ie. no print, on receipt of your approval the job will be emailed to you at your specified resolution, without Charisma’s header sheet and internal proofing system.
