Your most important asset is often
the most overlooked .......
Often clients supply their logos or the logos of organisations they belong to - and often their quality is abysmal. It is critical that a logo is pin sharp. Ideally the logo needs to be supplied as a vector file. Nearly all logos were originally created in a drawing application and the logo will be made up of a number of connecting points or mathematical co-ordinates - vectors. This means the logo can be scaled to any size with no loss of quality whatsoever. Usually the files will end with
.eps or .ai.
Clients sometimes supply logos as jpegs. Jpegs are photographs made up of pixels. If these are blown up the quality deterioates quickly and they will look blurred. Jpegs are compressed files so they can be sent over the internet. A lot of information has been removed to keep file sizes small. Logos that are to be used small may be usable if the resolution is high enough. Please send your logos to us so we can check them out. Be prepared to contact trade organisations to get decent copies.
