An image can say a thousand words
about your company ......
The quality of a job is totally dependent on the quality of it's images. You will never beat a photograph taken by a Professional photographer. It will be superior both technically and in its composition. We recommend Peter Williams Photography - a great photographer and excellent value for money. If you supply your own from a digital camera please make sure they are in focus, well exposed and taken on your cameras best quality setting.
Image Size
Most digital cameras produce images that are 72 pixels per inch. For print purposes we require images that are 300 pixels per inch. So an image supplied at 72 ppi 15 x 15cm can only be used at 3.5 x 3.5cm at 300ppi. You cannot put more detail in a shot. If you are unsure of the resolution issues send us a sample to check.
Scanning from printed matter
It is not advisable to scan from printed matter. A scanner will pick up the dots used in the print process - and cause a moire effect. The only way to get round this is to slightly blur the image. Plus do you own the copyright?
